NAMIBIA: Although Namibia gained independence in 1990 and has been a democratic, politically stable country ever since, it’s still largely off the tourist radar. After you visit, you’ll wonder why! This vast country boasts the world’s oldest desert, largest population of cheetahs, oldest rock paintings, Africa's most photogenic country, eleven ethnic groups, excellent game viewing, and several endemic plants, birds and animals not found anywhere else on earth---like black-faced impalas, Damara dik-diks and desert elephants. English is the official language of this south African country, where people are friendly, game is plentiful, scenery spectacular, and hordes of people are still absent. Come join us on this extraordinary safari before the secret is out...
We'll again offer 2 separate tours. The fly-in safari will concentrate more on wildlife and tribal people in the northern region, whereas the overland tour will concentrate on desert landscapes in the south, although brief encounters with ethnic groups, and a few game drives will be included.
Both of these tours are an exceptional value. Itineraries are highly customized--each lodge, tour, and destination has been carefully chosen with photographers in mind. We urge you to compare!
